Join us for a walk to support the William J. Murray Memorial Scholarship fund.
About this event
William (Bill) J. Murray was a devoted husband and father to his family. He dedicated 37 years to the West Springfield School System. He was a caring teacher, who loved children and had a sincere passion for education. Not only did he show dedication to his profession, he positively impacted the lives of everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
The First Annual William J.Murray Scholarship, family fun walk is taking place on Saturday , May 21,2022, at the Morgan Road Pavillion in West Springfield. Our mission is to raise funds not only to support graduating seniors in the West Springfield community, but also to support the school system by purchasing much needed supplies and equipment necessary to provide quality education.
This event will be a way to carry on Bill’s legacy and bring the community together to support teachers and make a difference in the lives of students.
